Hello, my name is Neha! I just recently graduated from SJSU with a Masters in Software Engineering! I'm highly motivated and technically proficient Agile software developer, based in Sunnyvale, CA, USA. I have a strong passion for front-end development and I occasionally dabble in back-end and Android development.  Eventapture(Re - Invent News)
Eventapture is a web and Android based application specifically made for news. It is a platform for the users to share their stories, like the stories, audio or video comment on stories and have a community where users can have other users as their followers and can follow other users.
The Approval tool attempts to detect and eliminate fake news.
Contribution
Back-end: Designed, developed and tested the Node REST API’s for services related to User Facing Application.
Approval Tool: Designed, developed and tested the MEAN Stack application for admin portal.
Cloud: Deployed the application in AWS.
Front-end: Social Authentication in Angular 2 using Firebase
MongoDB: Worked on database schema design for Admin tool and Main application.
Spot It is an Android application that is use to sell and buy things around the current/interested location of the user.
Location is selected using Google picker API and the maps are updated based on real time data coming from Eve Python REST API framework which is connected to Mongo DB.
The images/videos of the product shown in Augmented Reality to the user. The application backend is deployed on Amazon EC2 and S3 in order to store pictures and feed it to the front end.
Implemented AR user interface using Vuforia Sdk and Android Ndk (e.g.- Virtual Video playback on a physical target.)
Contribution
Created major portions of the Android application.
Used Google picker API’s to select the user’s current location and to create a pin on the Google maps.
Real time information fetched from the server via web service API’s.
Crowd sourced Mobile Testing as A Service (MTAAS) platform which allows users to register as Testers or Application Developers.
MEAN Stack SAAS Application deployed on Amazon Bitnami instances with Elastic load balancer, S3, SQL databases and Multitenant environment.
This application features the testers to be rewarded with incentives after the completion of the testing successfully.
MTAAS features different billing modules to be selected by the App Developers. The Application Developer choose either between pay as you go plan or fixed pay plans.

The data displayed in the front end was fetched from the server using API’s from NodeJS connected to an instance of Mongo DB.
